Day 1 – Arrival and Cultural Welcome

Arrive in Arctic Lakeland and transfer to Hotel Kalevala, your home for the first part of the journey. After settling in, enjoy an Old Times cultural welcome dinner, where traditional Finnish flavours and cultural elements provide an introduction to the region’s heritage and way of life.

Day 2 – Winter Nature and Finnish Traditions

Today is dedicated to the natural beauty of Arctic Lakeland. Explore snowy forests and lakes on a guided snowshoeing or cross-country skiing experience. Later, embrace a core Finnish tradition with a sauna and ice swimming session, known for its refreshing and revitalising effect. In the evening, savour a traditional dinner of local flavours at Pirtti restaurant.

Day 3 – Arctic Adventures, Arctic Giant and Northern Lights

The day begins with iconic Arctic activities, including a husky safari and snowmobiling, offering an exhilarating way to experience the winter wilderness.

Later in the day, all guests transfer to the Arctic Giant Hotel, where a welcome drink awaits, followed by the signature Giant’s dinner, showcasing seasonal local ingredients. The evening concludes with a Northern Lights experience at Aurora Camp, marking the final night of the tour beneath the Arctic Lakeland sky.

Day 4 – Farewell Snowshoeing and Departure

On the final morning, enjoy a gentle snowshoeing experience in the peaceful surroundings of the Arctic Giant Hotel. The journey concludes with a relaxed lunch at Haapala Brewery before departure.
